Comment: Why do I keep getting letters saying this company has assigned my lease to another company? I guess the word is my lease, is it legal to do this?

Comment: Does your lease have a 2% override? If so, SOMEONE ELSE is - or will be - getting 2% of any oil money from your minerals? Did the local oil company "rep" (landman) tell you when you signed the lease? If you're getting oil money, ask Minerals Management Services (MMS) if ALL the production is being sold and WHO all is getting paid from your minerals.

Comment: Dawes Act of 1887 devastated the Native American in many ways. It's purpose was to "assimilate" Natives AND open Indian land to land-hungry white homesteaders! It reduced 138 million acres of Indian land to 20 million, of which was mostly semi-desert or unfit for profitable uses! Those Natives fortunate enough to have farming/grazing land, lacked the resources and help to flourish those pursuits and were forced to lease land to non-Natives. The Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara are living proof of this!

Comment: The head of the BIA said in 1934, "The Indian owned parcels of land today, are mere islands within a sea of white owned property." The grandfathers of this generation of MHA people, were good people, but the U.S. Gov't didn't help them in any way shape or form. Now, Today, our tribal "leaders" job should be to NEVER forget our ancestors and honor them AND protect what we have left! And Not to make sure big oil companies take our oil and give us nothing!

Comment: We can blame our Leaders for not leading, but all enrolled members that signed anything dealing with Oil are just as much to blame for all this activity. It’s here only because those that signed allowed it. Should have refused to sign telling the oil companies to stay off our land. They can take all the oil they need from below us, just come in at an angle from off the res. to get it, and pay us top $ for it.

Comment: Should never signed anything until you know and understand what’s at stake with your endorsement.

Comment: One thing’s for sure, nothing stays the same. What can be made up and changed, can be changed again.

Comment: Those at the top only have power as long as those at the bottom allow it.

Comment: I mean, if a person truly wants to be remembered to get things done for his people, he/she needs to really get things done for his people. Besides sitting on their ass, buying things, giving talks, and showing off, what has almost any of the past/current tribal chairmen ever did for this reservation? other than making sure every non-enrolled person got taken care of and leave the Natives with nothing! Eradicting the Indian! That's the legacy of Ft. Berthold Leaders! It's a giant shame!

Comment: All people who signed a peak lease get together and throw out the lease, file charges of RICCO in Federal court against the elected official who crafted the 2% for himself, MMS,the oil co and the BIA Supt., I heard 2% is equivalent to approx $340K per well for that one individual--so when is the meeting to get going on this action? Time is a wasting.

Comment: Richard, I agree in some ways about signature endorsement. However; Keep this in mind. Remember back at the beginning of the Garrison Diversion Project.... They were moving dirt and building the Garrison Dam before Chairman Gillette even signed those papers! In short they would have pulled the same kinda of crap with the oil. Putting up wells only in border towns and purchasing up deeded land and mineral rights on the sly. Snakes!!Question is where are we going from here? Save the tribe or just pad a few greedy bank accounts?

Comment: Oil and Gas leases/interests are transferred from one entity to another entity all the time, for a wide variety of reasons. As the Lessor, you are NOT negatively affected by the assignment from the original Lessee to a different party. Think about the assignment issue from your side of the coin- let me lay out a hypothetical scenario from the perspective of a Lessor, like yourself: (see next comment - ran out of room here!)

Comment: HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIO: You, the Lessor (as owner of the mineral rights) sign an oil and gas lease (OGL) with "Company X". The OGL has a primary term of 5 years. Two years into the primary term, you are approached by an unrelated party who offers you millions of dollars to buy your mineral rights. You decide you want to accept this offer to sell your mineral rights because the money will provide financial security for your entire family, FOREVER. (continued below)

Comment: After you agree to accept the offer, an ASSIGNMENT would be executed by you, the current mineral owner (and Lessor of the OGL), which would convey not only the mineral rights, but also the EXISTING OGL (and the terms of that lease, which you agreed to when you signed it with Company X). The new mineral owner notifies Company X of the change in ownership of the interest so that all future communications, etc are properly routed to the new owner.

Comment: Also, if you signed an OGL as Lessor, and then you passed away while the OGL was still in effect, an ASSIGNEMENT would be executed, legally transferring your interest to your heirs or designees. Basically both the Lessor and Lessee are allowed to assign their interest in any OGL to anyone, at any time. However, the terms of the lease (and any obligations or requirements stipulated in the lease) are not affected by assignment, and all assignees must abide by those terms. Make sense?

Comment: I just heard Clair Fox went up to the chairmans admin WPE and confronted him on his insults against Clair and staff members. Now that is what a leader does is stand up for the people, GO CLAIR!!! I thought Clair Fox was with Tex and it looks like Tex has pushed him to the side along with other white shield members. Is it him or his staff? My concerns are what is going on with our oil? Why is a canadian have alot of clout in our oil and speaking for us and not our enrolled members?

Comment: According to yesterdays Jan 10 Bismk Trib, the state of ND collected $43.7 million from the FB-ND oil & tax agreement since July 2008, while the TBC rec'd $19.1 million from the same agreement. The state gets TWICE as much revenue from WITHIN FB boundaries as the TBC. Levings INDEFINITELY extended this tax agreemt last year, Jan 2010, probably with the support of the rest of TBC. With $100 million tribal govt debt, how did TBC spend the $19 MILLION tax dollars they rec'd from this tax agreemt?

Comment: Failure of the CEMENT CASING of oil wells has allowed toxic fracking chemicals to pollute the environmt. States & 'sovereign' tribes are denied the right to know the extent, volume, and identification of toxic chemicals used in fracking. With hundreds of wells planned on FB and up to 14-20 frackings for EACH well, the industry-friendly BIA, TBC,& '1-Stop-Shop' are unable to objectively address human health & environmtal concerns. Is your grandchild's health just another expendable item on FB?

Comment: The water is going to be polluted, the graves of our ancestors are going to be disturbed, sacred sites are going to be torn up. When they built that dam, it was for the enjoyment of the american people. Whose land is it really? Trust land's are gone. Well don't worry about it, the world's gonna end. The ground will disappear from under your feet and what you gonna do than. Blame your IHS, Blame BIA, Blame TBC? Nah, blame yourself. Everyday I pray for goodness, yet I see these ugliness.

Comment: A film producer for Al Jazeera English TV in Washington DC is interested in doing a news film on FB oil and gas & talking to tribal members about any comments or concerns about FB energy developments. Sounds like they might be here in Feb. One of their tv film crews already produced a film on small ND towns affected by oil and gas, maybe last year. A few yrs ago,( pre-Inner Voice)a Japanese TV crew was also here filming about the FB oil and gas.

Comment: 32 MILLION gallons of ONLY diesel, or a mixture of diesel, was injected underground by fracking in Texas, OK, NORTH DAKOTA, LA, & Wy for 4 years until 2009, to drill for oil. This from a new congressional study. None of the co's will say if they injected the toxic chemicals near underground water. The 1-stop-shop just told the audience last wk at the tribal energy summit that some of the stuff that's used in MCDONALD's milkshakes is also used in fracking. OK - YOU drink the fracking water!

Comment: (continued) When asked, during the meeting, if '1-stop-shop' was saying the fracking fluid is drinkable (as a McDonald's milkshake), he had to admit that the frack fluid is toxic to health. He did say that BOTH transporting frack fluid (by trucks) AND disposal of frack fluid will be the TWO safety concerns on Ft Berthold about this toxic by-product.

Comment: Go to Youtube & watch,'Bakken Watch: A day at the Farm,' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=850VKyFnxIk, a video about a North Dakota family farm reportedly hurt by nearby toxic fracking of oil well. The video shows ill animals, polluted water from kitchen sink, skin sores from bathing in household water, and unknown white residue appearing on basement walls of family's home. In ND, the oil wells can be 500 feet from your home. How well is BIA/BLM/TBC regulating FB developmt to protect human health?

Comment: How about sustainable energy supply/ demand? Fossil fuels are not forever. How about some "Green Energy"? How about we build another dam and sell electricity to the rest of the grid? I don't really see the KEEPERS OF THE BAKKEN owning up to their responsibilities to mother earth. Seen 3 trucks full of dirty snow chunks and ice on HWY 23. They were headed east towards the Sawyer Landfill. We never hear how bad things are until its too late. Wonder if that was the clean up from Sanish?

Comment: Petro-Hunt spilled oil and thousands of gallons of salt water into the lake north of Keene on Sat, April 2. Have our toddlers and elderly on FB already drank this spill-laced water flowing by Mandaree, NT, & Parshall water intake valves that brings water to most homes? Mike Sauer, Bismk Dept of Hlth, said "..there's nothing that can be done about it.." Seems to sum it up for the State's subservient pandering to oil co's. What's our sovereign tbc doing about this danger to our drinking water?

Comment: Predatory child molesters and other felons working for TER0-approved oil co's on FB. No TBC regs or TERO regs to protect children & others from these felons. After TERO tax paid, they're free to go anywhere. After all, TBC DOESN'T have criminal authority over non-Indians on FB. The oil truckers all know this, speeding, spills, dumping toxic waste. County sheriffs don't want to bother coming over to FB to get non-Indian violators either. Over $100 million TBC debt, TBC desperate for o/g millions.

Comment: The General Store is a very dusty place. The dust is all over the floor and shelves where all the goods and beverages are. More than likely, a majority of the dust is from the work boots of the oil rig workers. The mud and muck is from the oil rig sight. So I am wondering if the items that we buy at the store safe to eat?

Comment: Oil co's in ND have been injecting millions of gallons of carcinogens - CANCER-CAUSING toxic chemicals - underground while fracking oil wells between 2005-09. FB o/g started around 2007 when the carcinogens used in fracking. 5 yrs later of FB - there is still NO tribal codes protecting health, NO tribal penalties for damages, NO enforcement by the sovereign TBC. BIA and BLM doing little or no monitoring of oil co's on FB allottee lands. The US Congressional House rept on fracking just released.

Comment: 4-18-11. There were 3-4 water pipeline breaks in Mandaree last Thurs and Friday. No water in the Mandaree area. School had to be dismissed Friday. Some rural resident still did NOT have water on Saturday. Heard the water pipeline breakdowns were from north of Mandaree by Blue Buttes, Mandaree school, Skunk Bay, and east of Mandaree. Leaking? Drinking water exposed to contamination? Valves broken? Unknown. There's been many breaks in the Mandaree water system in the past couple of yrs.

Comment: The tribal council voted tribal residents will be billed for FBRW water. See the Oct 7, 2010 Special council minutes. Scott Eagle made the motion to bill us. No info on how much we will be charged. Also they were going to start to bill "the industry" for water. TBC was also going to back-bill McKenzie County since they didn't know if McKenzie County has been getting free water from the TBC since 2006 - years before most tribal members even had access to FBRW water.

Comment: Early today, May 4, another oil pick-up truck rolled over or crashed on BIA Route 12 in Mandaree. Older blue cab pick-up, light colored hood, flat-bed back in the ditch with smashed front. Another TER0-approved trucker? Road was flat, dry, and straightway. No other vehicles around. Wheel tracks eastward. Ambulance seen but sounds like the unknown driver might have already left, with contents scattered around.

Comment: To help protect their roads, Watford City FINES oil trucks over the weight limits. Since 2007, 5 yrs now, what did the TBC do to protect the FB roads from damages we see everyday? After the TERO tax is paid, oil cos are free to damage FB roads. NO monitoring. NO enforcement for creating hazardous conditions. NO penalties from the sovereign TAT. In the past 5 yrs, what did the TBC spent the TERO taxes on? It WASN'T our roads. We've NEVER seen or heard anything come from the TERO tax since 2007.

Comment: That oil pick-up truck with the flat bed that was left abandoned, rolled over in a flat area of BIA Route 12 yesterday in rural Mandaree had NO license plates in either the front and NO license plates in the back either. The litter from their abandoned pickup was scattered all around the area. Another TERO-approved contractor?

Comment: An oil well caused a fire today which threatened 3 nearby homes on BIA Route 12 in Mandaree. Even tho it was windy, the oil co. threw either diesel or gasoline at their flare to start it. Dry grass caught fire which quickly spread and could have engulfed 1 home. Besides negligence or carelessness by the TER0-approved oil co.- what else caused this fire? TBC's and BLM'S FAILURE to both develop OR enforce codes protecting tribal members from fires, spills, hazardous road damage, explosions, etc.

Comment: A TV news crew from Paris France is here on FB to see the impacts of oil and gas on individual tribal members, roads, traffic, etc. Their country is facing oil & gas hydraulic fracking. They came to see how capable FB is in handling the impacts,and how well western ND is handling this also. Was there a plan in place on FB? Or is it continue to be, 5 years deep into industrial development, "after-the-fact" scrambling for answers and a continued to be lack of decision-making by tribal leaders?

Comment: A reporter from 'High Country' magazine (colorado) is here to see how well FB is managing the many impacts of oil and gas on FB residents and the govt. This magazine did the article on the Southern Ute tribe which was posted on this website last fall. With the total FB mineral rights probably worth billions, how well are individual members doing under the 2 admins? How well is our tribal govt handling the economic worth of FB? The immeasurable worth of both our health and our environment?

Comment: Despite a lack of any infrastructure to limit the impacts to tribal member health and environmt, the BIA is proposing that 1,600-3,000 wells be developed on FB in the next 5 years. TAT does not even have a code to PREVENT or fine hazardous waste spills like oil and gas. Individual tribl members are bearing the burden of these impacts because of TAT-BIA-BLM failures to enforce laws and penalties on fires, spills, road damages from the TERO-approved oil cos. $100,000 TERO fee paid by each oil co.

Comment: A TAT member has affadavit filed. Copies around. In 2008, TH tried to buy BOTH minerl & land for just $25 p/acre from TAT membr. TH told them it was appraised at that amt. A BIA Realty clerk was part of conspiracy to defraud TAT membr, by recrding $25 p/acre on BIA appraisl recds - BUT BIA Suprtndnt STOPPED the sale to TH becuz an oil co was to lease minrls. Neithr TH or Realty Clrk told the minrl ownr of this lease. Aberdn BIA Dirctr Loudrmlk removed FB BIA Suprntndnt this month. Where's TBC?

Comment: Do you know of oil truck spills on hwys? Was your soil removed due to a spill on your land? Did a oil company's fire threaten your home? Did anyone tell you that the BIA, thru 'TEC,' is taking your comments now until 6-10-11. Despite lack of codes protecting your health & land (including roads), the BIA,under TH, plans up to 3,000 wells in next 5 yrs. The TBC DOESN'T have codes or regs to protect your health & land. BIA/BLM efforts are limited. Is your child's or grandma's health expendable?

Comment: For yrs, oil cos injected toxic saltwater underground in Ft Peck before 2005. Now, Ft Peck has elevated levels of metals,including benzene & toluene. The underground contamination's been spreading for yrs now. EPA ordered oil cos to build a water line for tribl membrs in 2005. BUT the water pipeline had dozens of breaks & now the underground contamination has ALSO reached public wells. 23 tribl homes in the contaminated Ft Peck area without drinking/domestic water for more then 3 wks now.

Comment: Many know of TBC Arnie Strahs recent hurtful and hate-filled comments (once again) to tribal members concern and question about an oil-and-gas development in the Mandaree area. Speaking up for the oil industry's interests instead of an enrolled tribal member's concern, West Segment Strahs told her, "you're the dumbest Indian woman I know." Running for election again, didja say? Think he's got the votes? Brought down by his own worst enemy - himself.

Comment: With federal program funding, casino profits,IMDA lease millions - plus $100,000 TERO fees from EACH oil co - TBC got ANOTHER $20 million loan to refinance their PREVIOUS $30 million Shakopee loan. Yet, the average tribal member is still driving in hazardous road conditions - roads damaged by the TERO/tribally-approved oil companies. Alignment,tires damaged, extensive wear-and-tear - all unacknowledged costs that individual tribal members continue to bear while TBC spends its' millions elsewhere

Comment: Word is some tribal membrs have to resort to their own ways to increase SAFETY on FB rez roads. Trying to get oil trucks to slow down reportedly ended in a trucker pulling a gun on an unarmed tribal membr. So, some TER0-approved trucksters carry weapons. There are officers trying to do their jobs. But for an immature tribl govt, 638 allows both political interference & indifference to law enforcmt. After all, we're sovereign. The end result? Tribal membrs take law enforcmt into their own hands.

Comment: Today's Minot Daily front page: 12,000 to 15,000 barrels of salt water spilled on allottee land in Mandaree. SECOND: another oil spill into lake near Mandaree water intake system - on July 27, the same day as, THIRD: a DELIBERATE dumping of salt water in rural Parshall. Are Mandaree toddlers & elders drinking oil-laced water again? Have a grazing lease? How is wildlife hurt by these spills? Both land AND ground water contaminated by thousands of gallons of salt water. Read news article online.

Comment: Last week, 2,400 gallons of DIESEL FUEL spilled in Mandaree near Skunk Bay by NT Cenex. ALSO - ANOTHER salt water 'spill' in Mandaree last week by careless or negligent drivers. Comment: Today's Minot Daily 8/28/11 article, "Bear Den Oil Spill," Last months's oil spill is still contaminating the Bear Den Creek in Mandaree because of oil well pump seal failure. Poor quality of equipment from a TERO vendor? Poor workmanship? Lack of monitoring? Carelessness? All unknown. The unidentified TERO-approved oil company is still TRYING to prevent the contamination from reaching Lake Sakakawea. The Mandaree water system is nearby and downstream from this spill.

Comment: Yesterday, Sept 2, ANOTHER "salt water" spill south of Parshall by TERO-approved tribal oil company. Sounds like the truck driver is from Thailand (Asia) tipped over the truck by a creek that goes into Lake Sakakawea, our drinking water. BARRELS of toxic 'salt water' spill not known. CHEMICALS in the salt water not known either. On allottee, trust, or fee land? Will TAT actually fine the TRIBAL oil company - if at all? Will the tribal oil company actually pay for the damages they caused?

Comment: It sounds like that truck spill south of Parshall yesterday was caused by Beaver Creek and spilled saltwater or fract water on land and into a small creek that goes to the lake. Towns downstream, maybe White Shield also, might be drinking this soon. Salt water kills the soil so you can't grow crops anymore. Any animals,cows, horses, wildlife, migrating birds could also be drinking from this creek also. It's a tribal oil company that caused damage so is the tribe going to fine them? How much?

Comment: Is your safety - your familys safety - continue to be endangered by unmonitored, uncontrolled environmental crimes on FB? The "big 3" on FB - BIA, BLM, & TBC - fail to encourage public reporting of potential environmental crimes witnessed by tribal members. With lack of adequate FB govt capability, we have to turn to alternatives. Go to the federal EPA website and look this up. Comment: (Continued) Do you know of oil trucks deliberately or carelessly spilling "salt water" (AKA toxic frack fluid)? Late night dumping? Email epa.gov/tips. (Even if the truck isn't identifiable, you can report it as 'Unknown.' Reporting violations is important!) You can also CALL the toll-free Denver EPA 1-800-227-8917 to report spills & other violations or you can also email eyesondrilling@epa.gov. The federal EPA is the only alternative for tribal members who care about our land and water.

Comment: The McKenzie County Sheriff said "...Accidents, crimes, thefts are up like you wouldn't believe". Mountrail Co Sheriff said his officers do what they can...."but violent crime is more of a concern, with pistols and knives part of nearly every criminal and traffic encounter....Unless you're here, you have no grasp of what it is..." Dunn Co Sheriff says worse problems with traffic. He expects this to get worse when Highway 22 (to Killdeer) reopens later this year. Read this 09-26-11 article online.

Comment: The BIA receives about 800 dollars per truck each day. In a month they receive estimated 120,000. That is for wear and tear, where does the money go? Some companies make three million for a job. Dakota 3 sells 104 thousand dollars of oil per month. The non potable water, which no one is allowed to wash even their hands with is spill everywhere.

Comment: Go to the Google search engine and look up Land rich and dirt poor by Rebecca Adamson and read what she has wrote. It will make you realize we are asking for help in the wrong place. The BIA doesn't care. Our tribal council is helping the BIA rob us of our assets. We its gowids, it really will be gowids for all of us. Even the tribal council.

Comment: Does each tribal council member take classes from the BIA when they are in term? Pulling the wool over the members eyes 101. Tell you what you wanna hear 101. Keep the member down while I rise 101. Learn how to cover your tracks 101. After two terms they become seasoned members and can be shady characters all on their own? The tribal council is doing nothing but what the BIA is doing to the members. The BIA doesn't feel responsible because its the native doing its job.

Comment: We fight amongst ourselves while our resources are being used without compensation. Except the tribal council, family, and the brownie noser. We have no character, integrity or senses. Black and Mexican people work together to gain their freedom and equality. We are tribes, some 209 tribes. If we all worked together we would accomplish equality as in the United States. All men are created equal.

Comment: I guess Tex still hasn't had his Ahha moment. When is election?

Comment: Part of Hwy 23 by Parshall blocked most of Sept 29 because of hazardous chemical spill by oil truck. Hwy 37 also closed. The truck driver turned fast. Both truck and trailer tipped over. Report all the FB spills you know about on this page. We need a public record of the "known" spills & other damages caused by carelessness or deliberately. This will not include the other spills and damages that go unreported and unmonitored on Ft Berthold.

Comment: What protections from spills, fires, explosions do FB landowners have in the "right-of-way" easements they signed for pipelines crosing their land? Read Billings Gazette. A break in TransCanada's high-pressured 30-inch Bison Gas Pipeline spewed a brown cloud in July 2011 in Wy. Its now 15 weeks later & TransCanada (tar sands) STILL DOESN'T KNOW what caused its own pipeline explosion. 15 weeks later, their spokesman is quoted as saying,"We aren't, at this time, certain as to what happened when."

Comment: 2 Oklahoma men are charged in federal court with terrorizing tribal members traveling on the highway west of New Town last month. The 2 men pulled along side of the tribal members on the highway and threatened them, pointing a gun at the tribal members. A shotgun and a pistol were confiscated from the two men. Both were indicted in federal court and still have to go to trial. Read the Bismarck Tribune article in today's paper Nov 1, "Oklahoma men accused of pointing gun at North Dakota couple."

Comment: Seismic testing, fracking, flaring. Watch Youtube video "Be...without water," http://youtu.belakoNMTMXHSw (Oct 2011). Millions of gallons of toxic water pumped into ground. Acquifer & springs dried up. 60 rural families lost their drinking water. And 19 of 31 exploratory wells were leaking natural gas in Quebec. And in Arkansas, Oklahoma, thru Pennsylvania hard bedrock, water contaminated thru fracking, trucking, & thru sloppy injecting back into ground. Settle out-of-court and judgment sealed.

Comment: The EPA found high levels of methane, benzene, in 2 more Wyoming drinking water wells near fracking zone. 17 water wells also tested last year had FIFTY times the EPA level for cancer-causing benzene. Last yr, residents were told to VENTILATE their bathrooms while showing & NOT DRINK THE WATER from the contaminated wells, & NOT USE THE WATER FOR COOKING. The EPA is the only agency still protecting rural folks, including tribal members. Well casing? Pipeline integrity? All TERO-approved on FB.

Comment: HUGE mounds of trash were dumped on open ground by the Williams oil well east of Mandaree for over a week. These huge mounds of trash were in an oil well area fenced off for Williams oil well & road closed to the public. Mandaree residents CARE about the land. This Williams Oil is the SAME oil well which carelessly burned over 70 acres of allotte lands in May. Tribal homes were in the path of the Williams-caused prarie fire. Remember this,if they come near you. Problems TERO-tribally approved.

Comment: Today an oil truck drove down hill in the WRONG lane on ice-covered Hwy 22 in Bear Den area. The truck driver did NOT get back into his lane, did NOT stop & kept in the WRONG lane even with oncoming local traffic slowly up Hwy 22 in their right lane. Local car/pickup was FORCED into wrong lane & trucker kept going. Another TERO-approved trucker endangering lives. Your relatives & loved ones can be hurt or killed because TBC not able to protect its own tribal members after the TERO fee paid.

Comment: See Page 9 of this on-line 6-15-2011 US Dept of Justic. "The USAOND, in conjunction with the FBI and multiple tribal organizations, is participating in a Sex-Trafficking Working Group to address the abuse of woman and children through prostitution on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. The working group is developing a protocol to address reporting and investigation of sex-traffiking violations and a community response to the shelter, treatment, and other needs of the victims of such abuse."

Comment: Few tribal members know that while the State of ND has been TAXING allottee minerals - the State of ND has exempted all the fee land minerals from taxation, inside the Ft Berthold boundaries - for years. Only tribal minerals are taxed by ND. Oil from fee lands on FB has NOT - is not - taxed by the State of ND. The TBC agreed to this, knew about it, and STILL signed the State-TAT tax agreement. Not only that, ML also renewed this ND-TAT oil and gas tax agreement "indefinitely."

Comment: Is everyone busy spending money now days? Are there any millionaires on the rez yet and how are things progressing? Please do not mention the tribal council (trying to maintain a positive vibe).

Comment: Ohio state's Dept of Natural Resouces confirmed that geologists found that fracking fluid was injected underground into a disposal well that intersected with an unmapped fault line in a near-failure state of stress causing a series of 12 earthquakes in the state of Ohio. The Ohio's Class II disposal wells regulations MET OR EXCEEDED EPA regulations. More then 2 billion gallons of frack fluid are buried or injected underground EVERY DAY in the US.

Comment: I kinda want, but really don’t need big fancy material items that cost lots of money. I’m no expert but have 12 yrs work experience on the big rigs. I refused to sign oil lease papers on property I own for any amount. I purchased property in Mountrail County on Ft. Berthold with minerals reserved by the white seller. I simply need family & friends, my OWN place to live, with some healthy food and clean water, then like an ole rez dog, my tail is waggling.

Comment: Years ago in a meeting at Twin Buttes with Oil company reps, some of U remember my words, that I would sign their papers only if they could guarantee me one thing, right now and stand good for it. I made it clear to them that if they could not guarantee me that their oil activity would not adversely affect my drinking water source then I refused to sign any lease papers. We can survive without oil, life can not survive without water.
